About EverDrive

Fair to drive. Fair to ride.

Auto rickshaws keep our cities moving, yet the people behind the handlebar carry the most risk for the least reward. We are changing that, one electric auto at a time.

The daily grind

You work the longest hours. Someone else keeps the profit.

These are the problems auto drivers in metro cities tell us about, and what we do about each one.

The problem

₹900–1,000 gone before you earn a rupee

Daily rent plus CNG or diesel adds up to around ₹900–1,000 a day, and a full tank gives only about 150 km. You start every shift in the red.

Our answer

Electric costs about ₹0.6 a km

Charging a full battery costs roughly ₹86 to ₹102. Less spent on energy means more of every fare stays in your pocket.

The problem

Fuel prices are not in your hands

CNG and diesel prices and supply follow global demand and supply. When they rise, your rent does not come down, and they may rise in future.

Our answer

A steadier, predictable cost

Home electricity is far steadier than pump prices, and your daily plan amount is written into your agreement. You can plan your month.

The problem

Maintenance is all on you

Breakdowns, tyres, brakes, clutch and engine work arrive at the worst time. One bad week can wipe out a month's savings, and the auto is off the road while you earn nothing.

Our answer

Service handled by the company

On our plans, the company handles service. An electric motor has far fewer moving parts, so there is less to fix in the first place.

The problem

No insurance, no safety net

On a rented auto, drivers often have no insurance of their own. One accident, theft or damage claim can mean a debt that takes years to clear.

Our answer

Insurance is taken care of

The company handles insurance on our plans, so a bad day on the road does not become a bad year.

The problem

Rent is due even when you don't drive

Fell ill, family function, heavy rain, a strike or a breakdown, and the daily rent still runs. Your day off is not really a day off.

Our answer

Pick the plan that fits your life

Choose a fixed Monthly Salary plus incentives instead of a rent due every day, or a Drive-to-Own plan where every payment moves you towards owning.

The problem

Drive for 24 months and still own nothing

After two years of daily rent, you have paid for an auto several times over. The RC is still not yours, and you start from zero.

Our answer

Drive-to-Own: month 24 it is yours

Pay a ₹5,000 deposit, drive and pay your daily amount. At month 24 the RC moves to your name.

The problem

Hours lost in CNG queues

Waiting at the pump at peak time is waiting without earning. A queue before the first ride can cost a driver the best part of the morning.

Our answer

Charge at home, overnight

Plug in when you park and start the day with a full battery. Fast charging reaches 80% in about 1.5 hours on the E-city Ultra.

The problem

Short range makes you refuse good trips

With about 150 km a tank, a long airport or outstation fare means a refuel stop, and sometimes a lost customer.

Our answer

160–200 km on one charge

The FX MAX gives up to 160 km and the E-city Ultra 180 km typical, up to 200 km. Say yes to longer trips and keep earning all day.

What's next

Meet Rivo: rides that pay drivers fairly

Drivers tell us that ride apps pay them around ₹12–15 per km, that the distance on the app is often less than the distance actually driven, and that longer trips can pay a lower fare per km. That is not fair.

Rivo is the commuter ride product we are building with EverDrive autos. It uses clear per-km fares and the real route distance, so drivers are paid for every kilometre they drive, and riders pay a price they know up front.

Planned product. Name, features and launch timing may change.

  • ⚡Fair per-km pay for the distance actually driven
  • ⚡No surprise short-distance, low-fare long trips
  • ⚡Regular riders on a pass, so drivers get steady trips
  • ⚡Same electric autos, same lower running cost
